New this week we have large and small Pumpkins, a true sign of the changing seasons. They are great for baking with or for making hearty soups.

    Rainbow Carrots

It’s that time again. We have beautiful Rainbow Carrots available at the farmer’s market.

Also on tap we have some freshly harvested Horseradish. Horseradish mayo anyone? It pairs really well with the Wild Boar Garlic Sausage from Golden Prairie Meats, which you can also find near our stand at the market.

    New Potatoes

Welcome, delicious new red potatoes! There are several beds of them growing at the peri-urban plot, and they are getting bigger each week. There is no need for frying or baking these, as simply boiling them truly brings out their creamy texture and flavour (and definitely leave those delicate and tasty skins on). They pair incredibly well with dill, which we also have growing in abundance, and you can find it for sale at the farmer’s market.
